Veiled

Not everything distant is far away.

It felt like looking through time — not into the past, but into something that never fully formed.

The trees were there. I could see them. But not quite. A thin veil between us made them quieter, slower. Less real, maybe — or more honest.

I don’t remember why I took the photo. Maybe because I couldn’t reach it. Maybe because I didn’t want to.

There’s something comforting about not seeing everything clearly.
About knowing the world doesn’t always need to explain itself.

And maybe I took it just to remind myself:
Some things are meant to be near,
but never touched.
