Rendy Mahardhika is a photographer and visual artist working at the intersection of fine art, fashion, and documentary. His formal training began at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), where he earned a BA in Photography, and continued with graduate studies in fashion photography at the School of Visual Arts, New York.
While rooted in image-making, his current practice moves fluidly across disciplines—blurring the lines between visual storytelling, installation, and socially engaged art. Rendy’s work often explores liminal spaces: emotional, cultural, and geographic. Color, texture, and memory guide much of his visual language, shaped by both urban intensity and quieter narratives from his origins in West Borneo.
Outside the studio, he remains actively involved in collaborative and community-based projects, particularly those tied to environmental and cultural preservation.
Born in West Borneo, Indonesia. Currently based in Jakarta. Open to projects worldwide.
